Children’s Christmas Fair
On Monday and Tuesday next week, the bottom hall will be transformed into a Christmas Craft fair for all the children from Nursery to Year 6 to make some lovely decorations to bring home or to give as gifts. On the day, the children can wear Christmas clothes or dress up. Each class has a designated time to visit the fair. The children will rotate round once or twice depending on how quickly they complete an activity! The staff team in the year group will help children to make their gifts and there will be sanitising and tidying between classes. We will play Christmas music and each child can have a minced pie and mulled apple juice in a paper cup.
This is all possible thanks to the generosity of the PTFA. Thank you so much! We are looking forward to seeing the children dressed up and enjoying their gift making!
We are having party day on Wednesday 16th December. The parties will take place in the afternoon. We would like children to bring contributions for the party in sealed packets ( so crisps, biscuits etc), which the adults will share out between individual plates. Please remember we are a nut free school, so please do not send your child with any items containing nuts.
There is no toy day this year.
The performances will be shared on Google Classroom as soon as they are ready. We are hoping that will be by Thursday 17th December!
If any child at William Patten tests positive for Covid-19 from Thursday 17th December – Thursday 24th December, it is vital that you inform the school KLaw@williampatten.hackney.sch.uk immediately. We would then liaise with the Public Health England Health Protection Team for guidance on next steps. Therefore if you receive an email or text from school during this time, please do read it.
If any family has to self-isolate when we come back in January, please email myself or Carole CSpanton@williampatten.hackney.sch.uk as soon as possible.
