The school has entered a week long London-wide Sumdog maths competition which begins on Friday 15^th March. Your child will bring home their login details and QR codes before the end of this week, so that they can easily access the usual games and activities. Sumdog activities are adaptive to ensure the right level of challenge for your child, according to their responses. Sumdog is recommended for up to 15 minutes per day and has been shown to improve the progress of children who use it regularly.

Throughout the week, the points that your child scores will count towards their total class and whole school points. We are also hoping to be able to share some of the children’s achievements throughout the duration of the competition, and celebrate work in maths outside of school with certificates. Sumdog works best through the Sumdog APP. If your child experiences any difficulties in being able to access the activities through the app, it is recommended that the app is deleted and then reinstalled, as recent updates can sometimes disrupt accessibility when an earlier version is used.
