Nature Day took place this week and was a huge success (despite the weather!). All children from Nursery to Year 6 had a super fun day exploring and learning about nature. Classes managed to get outside to our local green areas such as Abney Park, Clissold Park and Woodberry Wetlands. It was great to see the children creating wonderful art with natural resources and making practical objects such as bird feeders, which will undoubtedly help our local wildlife during our current weather conditions! The idea for Nature Day came from the School Council who wanted to organise an event to celebrate the opening of our fantastic roof garden. School Councillors held meetings with their classes and collected feedback to discover how children wanted the day to go. Well done School Council and teachers for providing such a lovely day!
