Dear parents,

The Government has announced the lifting of Plan B restrictions from 27^th January. We will be keeping our current systems and protocols and will not be making any changes yet.

We have had a very high number of staff unwell in recent weeks, with our daily absences in double figures. This has had a significant impact on the school with a number of staff having to take on additional roles and responsibilities. Everyone has worked incredibly hard to not let this impact on the children and the team has done a fabulous job of ensuring minimum disruption. The number of children that have been absent has also risen sharply in the last three weeks, with absences tripling since December.

Therefore we continue to request that:

• adults wear a mask when entering the playground at drop off and collection.
• parents continue to use the one way system and leave via the Church street or Daycare gate. Please do not leave via the Lancell Street gate or Dynevor road gate
• when you have collected your child, please leave the playground as quickly as possible and avoid mixing in groups. If you are waiting to collect a sibling, please observe social distancing whilst waiting.
• regular testing for all family members is undertaken to identify any asymptomatic cases.
• parents inform us as soon as possible if there is a positive case within the household, so our records are accurate and we can let everyone know as soon as possible.
