At William Patten, children are taught the importance of behaving with high levels of respect for others. They play a highly positive role in creating a school environment where commonalities are identified and celebrated and difference is valued and nurtured. Bullying is never tolerated. The school has high expectations for behaviour and these expectations are commonly understood and applied consistently and fairly. This is reflected in the children’s positive behaviour and conduct.
As part of the school’s consistent approach, a strong emphasis is placed on developing a positive attitude to learning. As a result, children demonstrate high levels of motivation and persistence in the face of difficulties. We are proud of the consistently positive behavior at our school and are committed to supporting all children to succeed in their education.
