Our core book this week is Seasons by Hannah Pang.
We have planned adult led focus activities in
Reception & Nursery to develop children’s skills, knowledge and
understanding in particular areas of the curriculum.

In COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE, we will be discussing the seasons by looking at the weather, animals, clothing and foods related to different seasons.

In LITERACY, we will share our observations of how the weather and natural world change with the seasons and will be labelling how oak trees in Europe change over the course of the year. We will be reviewing the red words we have learnt this half term: These are irregular words that cannot be sounded out and must be memorised.
