Dear parents and carers,

Next week is Autism Acceptance Week and we will be marking this in school through assemblies and activities in class.

Hackney Education are offering a range of Autism Education Trust training and parent and student voice activities through the week. Please see flyer attached.

The focus will be Autism and Intersectionality.  They want to use the week to listen and respond to the views of Hackney young people and their families, thinking about how to make sure autism training and practice is culturally sensitive and meaningful, with particular reference to the global majority community.
