!A fabulous day of celebrating reading and how important and joyous it is. The children looked amazing in their costumes. See how many book characters you can recognise ....
Over 60 family members joined us for a delicious lunch this week for the Year 4 Come Dine with Us. A huge thank to Ali and his team for all their hard work. Lunch was delicious. Thank you to our guests for coming. It was lovely to see you all and the children were so excited and happy to see you in school!
Year 1 are learning about animals in Science this term. Both classes visited Hackney City farm to look at different types of animals. They had a lovely time! Thank you to all the parents that joined us too.
A very special lunch to celebrate Lunar New Year. 2025 is The Year of the Snake. A delicious lunch prepared by Ali and his team was enjoyed by all. A very big thank you to the kitchen team for all their hard work. So many children attempted the chopstick challenge and were very successful!
Year 5 had an exciting trip to Hackney School of Food, where they became chefs for the day! The children learned about the importance of fresh ingredients and the art of bread-making from scratch. They enthusiastically measured, mixed, kneaded, and shaped their dough, discovering the science behind making it rise. By the end of the session, they proudly baked delicious golden bread rolls to take home. It was a hands-on, fun-filled experience that combined teamwork, learning, and a love for food!
