Partnership with the Education Counsellor Office of the Turkish Embassy

We are proud to work in partnership with the Education Counsellor Office, the UK branch of the Turkish Ministry of National Education, which has been supporting schools across the United Kingdom since the 1950s.

The Education Counsellor Office provides Turkish language teachers to primary, secondary, and supplementary schools nationwide. The programme is fully funded by the Turkish Ministry of Education and offers academic support to Turkish-speaking pupils from Year 1 to Year 6, helping them to achieve their personal best.

Through this partnership, pupils have the opportunity to read, write, and speak Turkish, while also developing a deeper understanding of Turkish culture. Qualified teachers are assigned by the Turkish government to support pupils in tackling underachievement and to challenge higher achievers to meet mastery targets.

The benefits of the programme include increased self-esteem and confidence, improved bilingualism, greater clarity and understanding of language, and stronger community cohesion and integration. Most importantly, the partnership supports improved academic attainment and achievement. The programme currently supports over 80 schools across the UK and is highly valued by our Turkish-speaking families.

Our Turkish speaking children attend sessions on Thursday afternoons in the Art studio.
