Fairtrade Friday at William Patten!

We have had a wonderful day celebrating Fairtrade Friday at WP! Children across all key stages have learnt about what Fairtrade produce is and why it is important, especially to farmers, their families and their local communities. This year’s theme was all about food, where it comes from, and the impact climate change has on certain produce. We asked the children to come in Fairtrade themed colours, or in the style of Fairtrade produce, and they didn’t disappoint! Have a little look at some wonderful outfits from the day. Everyone also got to sample some yummy Fairtrade food, thanks to our wonderful kitchen staff! We also look forward to seeing what you create as part of the home learning set on Google Classroom.
