We have a very exciting project happening this year and we need your help!
We are working closely with Nina Lovelace, who is the Director of Hackney Outdoors and we are looking forward to going wild! It will be a true WP community endeavour to benefit our children, our families and hopefully the wider community too. Please see the introduction below from Nina and if you think you can help, please contact her on the details below. Updated details can be found here –

William Patten goes wild!

Announcing the big PTFA project for 2024… William Patten wants to re-wild its playgrounds in 2024! We’re planning to give our outdoor spaces a wild makeover, where our kids can bond with buzzing bees, fluttery birds, and all sorts of minibeasts. We’ll also be building a new outdoor learning space for rain and shine fun, health and wellness!
To make it happen however, we need a ‘squad’ of helpers. We’re looking for

  • fundraising wizards,
  • crowdfunding geniuses,
  • freebie hunters,
  • astroturf rippers,
  • gardening gurus,
  • habitat crafters,
  • woodworking wizards,
  • marketing and media masterminds,
  • art and design experts,
  • SEN specialists
  • and anyone else who can join the fun!

If you’re interested in getting involved please mail our project lead, Nina at She’ll add you to planning sessions in January. You can find attached the initial plans for the replacement of the main astroturf square!
