Year 1 trip to Spitalfields Farm

Year 1 had their most exciting adventure yet as they set off by train for Spitalfields Farm. As part of their science topic on animals, they learned all about the farm's animals. Did you know that donkeys are not waterproof? Chewy the goat was a particular favourite as were the guinea pigs and ferrets. We noticed that one of the sheep was missing an ear and one of the ducks missing an eye. Our guides - Sadie and Kirsten - explained that a lot of the animals are rescue animals. We really recommend a visit!
